The role :
Energetic engineer who is enthusiastic about software security best practices
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a software security engineer who wants to expand on their abilities and eventually grow a team.
Demonstrable experience in: - Security vulnerability identification and remediation - Use of automated security testing tools - Software development in Javascript, Java or .NET languages - Reviewing source code for vulnerabilities - Understanding of top OWASP/SANS CWE issues.
Someone who wants to continually improve their skill set and learn new technologies
Someone who loves to keep on top of all the latest tech and security techniques
Desirable :
- Experience working with AWS and/or Azure
- Experience in completing security assessment forms
- Experience in organising bug bounty programmes
- Experience in security budget management
- Knowledge of ISO27001 security requirements
What you’ll do:
- Take responsibility for company software security processes, including: bug bounty programme, secure code reviews & static code analysis
- Deliver internal and organize external security training for staff
- Organise and report on external penetration tests
- Conduct internal security audits & penetration tests
- Liaise with infrastructure teams to implement security best practices
- Update and improve upon existing security policies
- Report on security issues and risk mitigation to CTO
