Fantastic opportunity for a Sustainability Project Manager to work with my client a major organisation in the public sector.
· You will lead the implementation of my clients Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) project
· You will ensure compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), tackle identified gaps, and integrate solutions into their implementation roadmap
Skills required -
· Relevant qualification in Sustainability, Business, or related field, with experience in project delivery and data analysis
· At least 5 years commercial experience in a Project Management, PMO, Business Analysis, Operations or Change Management positions
· Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
· Project Management qualification eg. Prince II, PMP
· Analytical, strong excel, reporting skills
· Strong understanding of sustainability concepts and regulations
· Experience in sustainability programmes is a plus but passion is essential
· Proven ability to lead projects and drive change
· Previous experience in the public sector, IT, insurance, financial services, utilities or professional services

Deliverables –
· Driving the delivery of my clients Sustainability Strategy
· Leading the CSRD project to ensure timely delivery and compliance with the ESRS framework, and effectively implementing the project roadmap
· Analysing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in sustainability practices
· Preparing compelling sustainability reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
· Collaborating with business stakeholders, including the Leadership Team and Heads of Functions, to build strong relationships and support regulatory reporting frameworks
This is a 10-12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
