Our Client is a world-leading semiconductor company specializing in high-performance analogue, mixed-signal and digital signal processing (DSP) integrated circuits (ICs).
As a System Applications Technician , you will play an integral role in the successful production of ADI products that transform how the world works, plays, and communicates.
At their Limerick site they manufacture Integrated Circuits that are used in all forms of the electronics spectrum from industrial to consumer devices.
This role will be situated in their Automotive Connectivity Applications Team
Successful applicants are asked to be familiar with and have experience in the following:
Previous experience with testing , debugging , fault finding , experience using Multi Meter and oscilloscopes, Hardware Debugging .
Build & test demo’s, debug, rework electronic boards & test, comprehend schematic & layouts, setup test configurations & conduct tests, compiling reports,
Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.
Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multi-task.
Be capable of working with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
The successful candidate will ideally have the following:
- Education: Level 6 and/or Building towards bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 8).
- Experience: understanding of regulated environment or a System Applications Technician role within the manufacturing industry.
- Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving,
- Able to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work procedures.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
