Responsibilities:
• Collect goods from a manufacturer or warehouse.
• Load the vehicle in a way that ensures that the planned route matches the order of deliveries.
• Contact recipients of the delivery while end route to ensure their presence.
• Update the tracking system regularly so that customers know when their items will be delivered.
• Record daily, weekly, and monthly mileage as well as fuel usage
• Make deliveries, share any associated invoices with recipients, and get customers’ signatures.
• Update delivery records and return undelivered items.
Criteria:
• Customer service skills and good communication
• Punctuality to ensure timely deliveries.
• Be an excellent, skillful driver and respect traffic laws at all times.
• Be able to stay focused for long periods and be detail-orientated.
• Be comfortable with reading maps and GPS indications.
• Ability to manage the process of loading and unloading goods.
• Knowledge of transport methods, benefits, and costs
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm.
• Salary starts from £11 per hour.
• Expected hours: 45 per week.
