Job Description:
Flexsource are currently recruiting for an exciting new role with our client, a global leader in Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin.
Our client is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Operative / Driver Helper to join their busy delivery depot. This is a part-time position starting immediately and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a fast-paced logistics operation.
Hours of Work:
- Part-Time: 7:00am – 12:00pm
- Any 5 out of 7 days
Main Area of Work:
- Warehouse Operative
- Backup Responsibility - Driver / Helper (when required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting drivers with deliveries (when required), including safe loading and unloading of vehicles
- Supporting navigation and route planning during deliveries
- Liaising with customers in a polite, professional and friendly manner
- Reporting any issues and completing delivery logs accurately
- Carrying out general warehouse duties including picking, packing and stock handling
- Working effectively as part of a team and also using own initiative
- Completing ad hoc tasks as assigned
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution or transport is an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to support delivery routes when required
- Manual Handling certification is an advantage (training can be provided)
Pay & Benefits:
- €14.70 per hour
- Overtime: €22.05 (time and a half)
- Premium rate: €17.64 (20%)
- €0.50 meal allowance when working out on the truck
