My client in the tech space has an immediate requirement for an Accounting Manager for an initial 6 month contract with good potential to become permanent.
This is a contract role to support the team during a particularly busy period driven by an Oracle implementation and exceptional business growth. The successful candidate will support the existing GL accounting team by taking responsibility for managing the day to day accounting reviews and approvals for the EMEA and APAC entities. They will support the team through the monthly and quarterly close processes. Candidates should have experience of monthly close processes, preferably in a US headquartered multinational, as well as a strong understanding of both US GAAP and Irish/UK GAAP. Experience of large company ERP systems such as NetSuite/Oracle/SAP would be beneficial. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under strict deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment is critical.
This position reports to the Director, Accounting Operations.
The ideal candidate will be:
· Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
· Minimum 8-10 years post qualification experience in industry
· Experience with US GAAP and UK/Irish GAAP and IFRS
· Highly proficient in Excel
· Proficient verbal and written communication skills
