I am excited to be recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer/ Accounting Technician to come and join one of NI's well-established charities who’s social enterprises fund its charity work – lobbying, research and the Family Benefits Advice Service. What we’re looking for:
· Qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent Finance/Accounting degree
Or
· if you do not have qualification you must have 5 years’ relevant experience gained during the last 8 years working in an accounts department
3 years minimum working in a finance department to include:
· Bank and cash reconciliations
· Preparation of accounts up to Trial Balance
· Working with a computerised accounting package which uses nominal ledger, sales and purchase ledger invoice processing and payroll package
· Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, web-based systems, internet, email, databases and word processing.
