CPL are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the UK's leading advanced composites manufacturer who are dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and services to their customers. About the role:
· Bank and cash reconciliation and weekly cashflow forecasting
· Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat declarations, etc.
· Completing supplementary declarations for customs imports
· Preparing bi-monthly supplier payments
· Month end adjustments including bad debt provisions, accruals and prepayments, foreign exchange translation
You will have:
· Experience using ERP systems and Payroll systems
· 2 years of experience in a similar role.
· A relevant accounting qualification or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
