Azure Integration Architect

The Cloud/Integration Architect will be responsible for creating the solution design for the Integration layer and working with our Cloud Service Provider (Codec), Engineering and IT Support and ATS+ delivery team to implement the Solution Design which includes to following:

• Core Integration Architecture
  • Asure Integration Services Landing Zone
  • Integration Patterns required for ATS+ (API, Messaging, Event Driven, Batch/ETL etc)
  • AIS Services that need to be deployed

• Network Topology & Connectivity
  • Hub and Spoke
  • Private Endpoints
  • IP Address planning
  • DNS Strategy

• Identity and Access Management 
  • Managed identities for Logic Apps, Functions and APIM
  • RBAC for Developers, IT Support
  • EntraID for API Authentication

• Security
  • Network isolation (to eliminate public exposure of Integration Endpoints)
  • API Management policies; rate limiting, IP filtering, JWT validation
  • Encryption HTTPS/TLS and Key Vault for secrets
  • Azure Policies to enforce compliance

• Environment Strategy & Deployment
  • Deployment IAC using Bicep/Terraform etc
  • RTL Environments Dev, Test, UAT, Prod

• API Design & Lifecycle
  • Define API boundaries and layering System API’s, Process API’s experience APIs
  • Define API Standards
  • REST/GraphQL guidelines

• CI/CD for API deployments
• Workflow Orchestration
  • Logic Apps standard for VNET integration and performance isolation
  • Workflow Patterns; sequential, parallel, exception handling, retries, circuit breaker etc

• Messaging and Events
  • Service Bus and Event Grid

• Monitoring, Logging and Observability
  • Centralising logs using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights
  • Tracing end to end message flows across Logic Apps, Service Bus and APIM
  • Alerting for latency, failures and message backlogs
  • Define KQL queries for diagnostics and operational dashboards

• Governance and Management
  • Isolation of workloads (eg Recruitment, Enterprise, )
  • Naming Conventions, tagging, resource grouping
  • API /Standards
  • Azure Policies (restrict public endpoints, enforce diagnostics)
  • Managing Platform Service centrally (APIM, monitoring etc)

• DevOps & Automation
  • CI/CD pipelines for 
  • Logic Apps
  • APIs
  • Function Apps
  • GitOps workflows
