On behalf of our client in East London, Cpl UK – Health are looking for a highly motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist for work on an ongoing basis.
Our client are setting an urgent falls response service and are looking for an experienced OT to support this new pilot. Ideally, you will have extensive experience of community rehabilitation and preferably experience of working in a Rapid Response/Falls response service.
You will be required to work as part of the MDT. The service will respond to urgent referrals for patients who have fallen. The ability to carry out holistic assessment and implement robust plans to support patients to remain at home is essential.
Role requirements:
- You must hold a UK Passport or have a valid working VISA
- In-date and valid HCPC registration
- You must be a car driver with access to a car as staff are expected to transport some equipment as part of the role
- Ideally you will have prior NHS experience
This will be to work full time hours (37.5 hours p/week) across 7 days a week on a rota.
The week day rate will be a minimum of £24 p/hr and Saturday and Sunday/Bank Holiday rates will be adjusted accordingly.
