About the Role:
A clerical officer is required for a new team responsible for carrying out a series of critical checks across multiple domains to ensure vendor compliance and reliability. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Grade IV Clerical Officer to join this team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful oversight work in a dynamic public sector environment. The successful candidate will support the delivery of administrative functions across domains such as service delivery, financial stability, information governance, safety, reputation, and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out administrative and clerical duties related to the vendor assessment process
- Maintain accurate records and manage documentation in line with regulatory and internal requirements
- Support the preparation and formatting of reports and data for internal use
- Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders and assist in follow-up activities
- Contribute to the development and standardisation of administrative processes within the team
- Ensure high levels of confidentiality and compliance with relevant guidelines and data protection standards
- Use internal systems to record, track and manage data efficiently
Essential Requirements:
- Proven administrative experience in a busy, structured environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator with both written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable:
- Knowledge or experience using SAP or other enterprise systems
- Previous experience in a compliance, audit, or vendor management environment
