About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of institutional clients within the funds and asset servicing sector. This is a senior position responsible for managing all aspects of commercial relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, including retention and growth strategies.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling and revenue growth opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights on market trends, regulatory developments, and service enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across operations, product, IT, and legal to deliver tailored solutions.
- Prepare and lead senior client meetings, including global strategic reviews.
- Manage contract negotiations in coordination with internal legal and compliance teams.
- Maintain accurate records and updates within the CRM system.
- Represent the business at industry events and conferences.
Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years’ experience in client relationship management within the asset servicing or funds industry.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional client relationships.
- Strong understanding of fund administration, custody, depository, and related services.
- Demonstrated success in growing client revenue and managing commercial relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Confident engaging with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
