About The Role
- We are partnering with a fast-growing, privately owned cosmetics and beauty brand to appoint a Commercial Director / Head of Sales who will lead the company’s commercial strategy and drive the next phase of revenue growth.
- This is a critical leadership role responsible for scaling sales performance across retail, e-commerce, and international distribution channels, while strengthening brand positioning and market expansion.
- The successful candidate will bring deep cosmetics or beauty industry experience, strong commercial leadership, and a proven ability to grow brands across multiple channels and markets.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Define and execute the company’s commercial and sales strategy across domestic and international markets.
- Drive revenue growth across retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and distributor channels.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Build strategic relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and international markets.
Sales Leadership
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing sales team across multiple channels.
- Establish clear sales targets, performance metrics, and growth plans.
- Strengthen key account management and develop long-term retail partnerships.
- Drive expansion across premium retail, pharmacy, department store, and online channels.
Brand & Market Expansion
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align brand positioning with commercial growth objectives.
- Support new product launches, category expansion, and market entry strategies.
- Ensure the brand maintains strong visibility and competitiveness within the beauty and cosmetics sector.
Commercial Performance & Forecasting
- Own the commercial forecasting and sales performance reporting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour within the cosmetics industry.
- Deliver strong revenue growth and margin performance while maintaining brand positioning.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Act as a key commercial partner to the Founder/CEO and leadership team.
- Represent the company with major retailers, distributors, and international partners.
- Provide regular insight on market opportunities, risks, and commercial performance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in commercial leadership, sales leadership, or head of sales roles.
- Experience within Cosmetics, Beauty, Skincare or Personal Care is essential.
- Proven track record of scaling revenue within a multi-channel brand environment.
- Strong experience managing retail accounts, distributors, and international markets.
- Experience working with premium retail, pharmacy, department stores, or online beauty platforms.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding brand presence.
