My client are seeking a Commercial Manager to manage their accounts within the Company across Europe. You will be expected to provide clear interpretation and analysis of financial information and business KPI’s to the operational leads to drive revenues, improve efficiencies and identify opportunities. You will be expected to partner your key stakeholders in detailed financial and performance analysis, assisting in savings initiatives and modelling exercises and being responsible for identifying and driving out working capital opportunities.
Main duties and responsibilities
· Effectively monitor, interpret, and challenge financial results and communicate issues, risks, opportunities and trends, performance outlook including competitor activity and market trends to the management team on a timely basis. · Report on and ensure integrity and completeness of management information contained in the financial systems of the business. · Deliver timely and accurate management accounts and commentaries on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. · Conduct critical reviews of the performance of the contracts within the business, identifying trends, areas of underperformance and potential opportunities including managing the GP improvement plans. · Provide support and analysis to key stakeholders for strategic and operational business decisions. · Manage and monitor the contract terms and conditions and contract obligations. · Continuously monitor, develop and interpret appropriate and timely KPI's for the business. · Attend management meetings to present and report to key stakeholders as and when required. · Understand the performance of the business by client, contract, region and division from lead generation / conception through to tender and completion. · Effectively work with the business to deliver process improvements and interfaces. · Promote ownership of budgets to key stakeholders and assist managers in preparation and delivery of timely budgets and forecasts. · Develop efficient operational processes and controls to meet legal, regulatory requirements and ensure integrity and compliance. · Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders to fully understand the business as well as establish a credible and effective network of contacts. · Work with internal and external customers, to actively support and initiate team work to achieve the greater good. · Embrace a collaborative learning culture with your team and the wider business. · Ensure that all company communications are cascaded to team members in a timely manner as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience · German Speaking Required · Professionally qualified for at least 5 years (ACA, CIMA or equivalent). · Deadline driven commercial environment. · Demonstrates commercial knowledge that provides value added service to the business. · Experienced in partnering business managers to drive growth. · Excel modelling experience · Strong influencing skills · Working knowledge of Navision an advantage. · Proven track record of results.
