CORPORATE TAX MANAGER
My client, a Galway City based top 10 global professional services with more than 50,000 colleagues worldwide, seeks to hire a Corporate Tax Manager to join their team. Based in Galway City, reporting to the Tax Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 staff members. You will work within a high-performing tax advisory team, with the opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of industries including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and more. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of clients across various sectors
- Coordinate service delivery across departments for seamless client support
- Ensure timely corporate tax compliance, including payment and return filing
- Provide strategic tax advice on business structures, transfer pricing, and profit repatriation
- Play a key role in integrated client service teams delivering wide-ranging tax advisory work
- Achieve individual and team financial targets including billing and cash collection
- Contribute to and lead internal and peer training initiatives
- Support business development and marketing efforts at multiple organisational levels
- Oversee staff development and enhance internal review processes
REQUIREMENTS
- AITI-qualified and a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and tax consultancy, especially with large corporates
- Deep understanding of Irish Tax legislation, case law, and technical commentary
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and supervise multiple assignments
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Growth mindset and adaptability to evolving tax regulations
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in relevant systems
