Customer Service Administrator
CPL Recruitment is currently working with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Customer Service Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced environment where customer service and teamwork are at the heart of the operation.
This role is central to day-to-day activities and plays a key part in delivering a high-quality customer experience. The successful candidate will manage customer service and sales enquiries, coordinate field-based engineers, and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a high volume of incoming service calls and ensuring timely processing and resolution
- Liaising with customers to follow up on queries, provide updates, and confirm scheduled call-outs
- Reviewing service worksheets, closing service calls, and accurately raising invoices
- Ensuring all service activities are correctly charged and recorded
- Supporting the team with quotes, tenders, and document control in line with company procedures
- Providing general office administration support, including office sales and welcoming customers
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks to support daily service office operations
Skills and Experience
- Strong customer service focus with a positive, proactive can-do attitude
- Professional, courteous, and confident telephone manner
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- A reliable team player who can also work independently when required
- Excellent attention to detail with strong IT and systems knowledge
- Previous office-based experience is essential
