Editorial Team Lead

Our client is one of the largest medical communications organisations within the UK and are currently seeking an Editorial Team Lead to join one of their agencies.
You will work an international client base within the pharmaceutical industry and will lead a team of Medical Writers and Editors, whilst developing and delivering medical communications projects. In leading the team, you’ll take direct line management responsibility for staff which will furthermore include performance management, resource planning and developing & training of staff.
Other key responsibilities will also include leading account teams to ensure all projects are to client expectations and participating in direct client meetings, providing scientific expertise and insights.
All applicants for this role must have extensive & proven leadership experience gained from a medical communications agency. Other essential requirements include:
• Experience across a wide variety of deliverables and therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrable line management skills, to include experience of developing & managing Medical Writers.
• At least a Bachelor’s degree within a Life Sciences subject – an MSc or PhD would be advantageous.
