Servisource are recruiting Education Support Workers to support students with a disability who are in 3rd level education during their academic day.
We are recruiting both Academic Personal Assistants and also Note takers to provide supports.
Academic Personal Assistants - Supports are as individual as the student but generally include meeting the student at the start of their day, assisting the student around campus (opening doors, carrying bags/books) sourcing books / scanning the in library, right through to the end of their day. Depending upon the students requirements this may include activities of daily living. The hours are a reflection of the students timetable.
Note takers - you attend the lecture, take concise, clear notes and email them to the student.
The hours are a reflection of the students timetable and this along the support requirements will be discussed with you prior to placement.
Induction / Training is given before being placed on campus in September 2023
We are looking for caring, compassionate, punctual individuals who are eligible to work in Ireland and have either their own Level 7 in any field or a full FETAC L5 in Healthcare.
