Finance Business Partner
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic Finance Office that delivers timely, insightful financial information and supports strong decision‑making across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact planning, analysis, and performance management within a complex and evolving environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering. You will support day‑to‑day operations, review significant spend, analyse monthly operating expenses, and provide clear, valuable commentary that informs strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly financial results to senior management
- Partner with management teams on KPI reporting and variance analysis, offering insights and recommendations
- Monitor spend against regulatory allowances
- Develop and maintain financial models to manage and interpret large data sets for different audiences
- Support Quarterly Financial Performance Reviews with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams
- Lead the annual business planning cycle for the Transformation & Technology directorate
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Build strong working relationships with Heads of Function to promote effective communication and decision‑making
- Mentor and support junior finance team members
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1–2 years+ post‑qualification experience
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical capability
- Proven decision‑making skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, energetic approach with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
