Our client a leader in the Pharma sector has an urgent requirement for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team!
Job Description
This role will join our UK and Ireland team. This role will be working with other Accountants in Dublin and 3 assistant accountants in GP in India. The main responsibility includes but not limited to follow:
- Manage daily and monthly financial activities, close month end for above entities,
- Review journals, b/s reconciliations prepare by GP team member
- Ensuring SOX controls are complete on time
- Preparation of annual financial statements and manage annual external audit from start to finish
- Ongoing work with internal teams to identify project needs arising from new accounting and industry developments or process gaps
- Co-ordination with other internal parties meet various reporting deadline
- Preparation of UK VAT return, UK ONS and Irish CSO return
- Preparation and review UK corporate tax return
- Fixed asset management, include review of fixed asset control procedures
- Assist budgeting, forecasting
- Latest best estimate and all financial planning,
- Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Oversight of outsourced business partner
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A professional accounting qualification from a recognised body – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA; preference for a big four trained accountant
- 2-3 years business experience – preferably with Shared Service Centre or multinational corporation background
- SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable
- Experience in preparation of Financial Statements preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Able to work alone to understand and summarise financial data into high quality, accurate and usable summaries
- Strong computer skills especially MS Office
