Financial Accountant – Cork - 3 month Contract
Our client, a well-established and growing Cork based business, is looking for a short term Financial Accountant to assist their established finance department.
This 3 month contract, is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to gain valuable experience working alongside an established CFO.
This is an immediate start position.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial packs
- Contribute to monthly forecasting and budgeting processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
- Commercially aware with the ability to contribute strategically to financial planning
