Financial Accountant

Our client are now expanding their finance team & have engaged with us in Cpl to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team & work closely with the CFO in leading out the finance function so if you’re interested, please apply!
The Job:
As the Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the site based CFO & will have responsibilities across all aspects of accounting & finance for the company's operations, both here in Ireland & internationally.
More specifically you will be responsible for the development of the yearly strategic budgets, analyse & manage cash flow & cost projections, prepare monthly & annual management accounts, manage balance sheet recs, support internal & external audit processes, oversee compliance activities on the international entities, maintain foreign exchange registers, provide financial guidance to operations leadership teams & assist on the growth planning for future expansion projects,
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified.
- Fully qualified accountant with at least 3-4+ years’ post-qualification experience. A Big4/Top10 training background would be an advantage.
- Experience gained in a manufacturing or distribution environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications & ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational & communications skills as well as ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
The Offer:
This position is being offered on a permanent basis with salary depending on skills/experience but expected to range up to approx. 75k. In addition there is an annual bonus of up to 10%, generous pension contribution, healthcare allowance alongside other minor benefits & strong further career growth prospects on offer.
This role will be initially fully office based in Shannon with potential for hybrid/working from home on occasion.
