Financial Controller
Join a new hotel that is opening in the heart of Cork City. Our client is seeking a Financial Controller on a permanent basis to join their pre-opening team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance professional that is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations in the hotel.
· Ensure timely financial reporting is achieved .
· Report into the General Manager and business partner across the various functions within the hotel.
· You will be responsible for overseeing month end / quarter end close.
· Ensuring the highest standards of financial accuracy and integrity are implemented.
· Supervising and training team members within the finance team.
Requirements:
· You will be a fully Qualified Accountant, ideally with 5 years PQE experience.
· You will have experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role.
· You will have strong Excel skills, Sage Line 50 experience is an advantage
· You will have strong communication skills and be detail orientated with the ability to work to deadlines
· You will have strong interpersonal skills and experience in coaching / training team members in advantage
· Hotel experience at pre-opening stage is an advantage
