I am looking for a German-speaking Underwriter/Claims Assessor who will specialize in applications for Life and Serious Illness product and claims assessments.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Making accurate and timely decisions that align with company’s underwriting and claims guidelines, ensuring applications are assessed to a high standard.
- Managing and resolving any challenges to decisions by clearly explaining the reasons behind them.
- Communicating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers and advisers.
- Promoting quality within the team by identifying errors, analysing root causes to prevent recurrence
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Consistently acting with integrity and maintaining a positive, proactive attitude.
Your Skillset and Experience
- Fluency in written and spoken German (essential).
- A couple od years of market experience with underwriting authority for life or serious illness, or relevant risk claims experience; alternatively, a medical qualification such as nursing.
- A relevant business or industry qualification, or a medical degree.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage time and workload
Salary and Benefits
- Strong base salary, depending on experience, between 65,000 and 73,000 per annum
