Are you a recent Graduate with a background in Electronics or Electrical Engineering? We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician / Junior Electronic Engineer to work in Limerick & support hardware development and prototyping activities.
Working in a team environment you will be responsible for some of the following duties:
- Assemble and test cable harnesses and connectors to specification
- Perform soldering on PCBs, including surface mount and through-hole components
- Support the development, preparation, and setup of electronic demos
- Assist engineers with hardware assembly, basic troubleshooting, and rework
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and inventory of components
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and documentation in the lab
- Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to support ongoing projects
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and cable making
- Familiarity with PCB rework, soldering standards (e.g., IPC), and demo setups
- Good understanding of electronic components and wiring diagrams
- Experience with basic test equipment.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of ESD-safe practices & understanding of High Voltage would be an advantage.
