We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and managing key client relationships within your assigned territory.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives for major pharmaceutical clients within your territory
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
- Prepare for client interactions by identifying key stakeholders and building effective, trust-based relationships to close deals efficiently
- Manage customer relationships across multiple levels to ensure smooth order execution and long-term satisfaction
- Conduct regular in-person visits to maintain strategic relationships and uncover new business opportunities
- Travel approximately 40% of the time, including some overnight stays and occasional weekends
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and close opportunities using a consultative, strategic sales approach
- Strong presentation skills and solid commercial acumen
- A natural relationship-builder who earns trust with clients and internal stakeholders alike
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a focus on achieving sustainable, long-term results
Location: Southern Germany — including Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, or Rhineland-Palatinate
