A leading commercial law firm is seeking a Legal Administrator to join its busy New Homes team. This role involves providing high‑quality administrative and organisational support to property specialists, ensuring the smooth progression of new build transactions from initial instruction through to completion. The Role
You will support the New Homes team across all stages of new build property transactions. Responsibilities include preparing and managing documentation, liaising with developers and purchasers’ solicitors, coordinating completions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient day‑to‑day workflow within a high‑volume practice area.
Key Responsibilities
- Open new matters in Keyhouse, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with internal procedures.
- Prepare, review and finalise invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely issue.
- Manage incoming team post: scanning, logging, and distributing documents promptly.
- Scan and save all documents to iManage, ensuring correct naming conventions and filing standards.
- Compile organised, complete contract and closing packs for client closings.
- Liaise with team members and external stakeholders to support smooth transaction progression.
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and consistency across all administrative processes.

- Highly organised, efficient, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong teamwork skills.
- Comfortable using systems such as Keyhouse and iManage (training available).
- Professional, discreet, and proactive in supporting the team’s needs.
