My Client are an international specialist company who are headquartered in Newry and have an immediate requirement for a Management Accountant to join their team to fulfil a long-term contract role.
This role would be suitable for an experienced Accountant with immediate availability who wants to work with a quality team in a dynamic and positive environment.
Responsibilities will include
- Preparation monthly management accounts with variance analysis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting month end close processes which will include journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Year end audit file preparation
- Providing backup & support to finance team members
- Preparation & filing of VAT returns
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.
Ideal Candidate
- Available Immediately with previous experience in industry
- Recognised accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Previous exposure to Sage Line 50 & ERP System would be desirable
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess strong attention to detail
