I’m currently partnering with a leading global financial services organisation on a senior Network Engineering Manager opportunity.
This is a highly impactful role for an experienced network leader who enjoys balancing hands-on technical depth with people leadership, operations, and strategy in a complex, international environment.
The role in brief:
- Lead a globally distributed Network Operations team (L2/L3)
- Own on-prem, cloud, and SD-WAN networking across enterprise-scale environments
- Drive operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex network issues
- Manage budgets, capacity planning, and stakeholder communication at all levels
Tech landscape includes:
- Enterprise networking (Cisco, Nexus, Meraki)
- SD-WAN (VMware Velocloud)
- Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
- Network automation & IaC (Terraform, Ansible, scripting)
- Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, SolarWinds
Ideal background:
- 15+ years in networking, with 5+ years in people management
- Strong cloud & automation mindset
- Comfortable operating in regulated, global environments
- Excellent communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical audiences
