Fleet M&E PTO
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Civil Engineering Assistant (PTO Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £17.43 per/hr
· Location – DfI Asset Operations & Maintenance/ DfI, Fleet Workshop
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
· Work includes aiding with the procurement of fleet vehicles and components to keep DFI fleet operational.
· Work includes aiding the development and operation of M&E contracts to ensure service delivery.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
1. At least NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle or Plant Maintenance and Repair and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience, gained within the last 5 years, in
a.the maintenance and repair of a commercial vehicle and/or plant equipment fleet in a workshop employing 3 or more qualified fitters/mechanics/technicians; OR
b. the management of specifications and procurement of vehicles and/or plant items; OR
c. the provision, delivery and management of competitive tenders.
OR
2. At least NVQ level 5 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Motor Vehicle or Plant/Maintenance Studies.
AND
3. A full current driving licence enabling the licence holder to drive vehicles in Northern Ireland.
Relevant or Equivalent Qualifications
Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated.
