This is a role where you can plan your own day and own schedule.

This is a regional field-based role that offers a competitive salary, generous benefits, and the opportunity to support Ireland’s journey toward a greener and more sustainable future.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of inspection documentation via digital tools or paper.
  • Offer advice to homeowners, contractors, and internal teams regarding energy upgrades and scheme compliance.
  • Manage appointments with homeowners – visits take place Monday to Friday, typically between 9am–5pm, with timing arranged the evening before.
  • Complete 5–6 inspections per day, depending on homeowner availability and geographic factors.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team, with full administrative support.
  • Attend regular training and contribute to continuous improvement in quality delivery.

Working Regionally – what to Expect:

  • Inspectors work within their local region (Ireland South, all within 2 hours’ drive from their home base).
  • Occasional travel outside the region may be required, with overnight hotel stays arranged and covered, including a food allowance.
  • Expect to be away from home on average one day per week.
  • All tools, safety gear, IT equipment, and uniform are provided.

Essential Requirements:

  • FETAC Level 6 qualification in Plumbing (mandatory)
  • Solid knowledge of domestic construction and heating systems
  • Comfortable working in a field-based, autonomous role
  • Clear communication skills, especially with homeowners and contractors
  • Proficient with mobile devices and digital reporting tools
  • Full driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • RGII registration
  • Heat Pump Installation training
  • Knowledge of insulation types and techniques

What’s on Offer:

  • Starting salary of €60,000+ (negotiable)
  • Fully expensed company vehicle, fuel card, phone, laptop & uniform
  • 20 days annual leave plus company days and public holidays
  • Bonus and incentive schemes
  • CPD opportunities, fully funded training & professional memberships
