This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can oversee all supplier negotiations, manage inventory, ensure efficient logistics, and maintain a safe, compliant environment. You’ll assist in leading a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement, and support organisational goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a supply chain strategy aligned to business goals and growth plans.
- Lead procurement and inventory operations to ensure cost control, policy compliance, and production continuity.
- Manage and optimize supplier relationships, including sourcing, qualification, and contract negotiation.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and alternative sourcing.
- Drive supply chain performance using KPIs, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar team lead role.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiations.
- Proven ability to manage demand forecasting, inventory levels, and cost optimisation.
- Experienced in leading and developing supply chain or procurement teams.
- Advanced analytical skills with a focus on KPIs and data-driven decision making.
- Demonstrated capability in supply chain risk management and corrective action implementation.
- Working knowledge of quality systems, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
