Production Supervisor

Flexsource NI are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor on a permanent full time basis

Responsibilities:

·        Supervise and lead a team of 15+ staff across various disciplines, including welding, painting, and assembly

·        Plan and coordinate the production workflow to ensure smooth and efficient operations

·        Monitor and ensure production deadlines are consistently met across all stages

·         Oversee and uphold high standards of quality throughout the production process

·        Conduct daily production meetings to align team objectives and resolve operational challenges

·        Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles

·        Coach, mentor, and support the development of team members to enhance skills and performance

·        Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless cross-functional operations

·        Track key production metrics (e.g. output, downtime, defects) and provide regular performance updates

·        Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

·        Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Production Supervisor, with experience in planning, meeting deadlines and quality control checks

·        Previous experience within the engineering industry, ideally with commercial vehicles

·        Previous hands on experience, for example as a commercial fitter or welder

·        Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles would be advantageous

·        A forklift licensee would be advantageous

·        Salary of around £40k, depending on experience

·        4 day working week (Monday – Thursday)
