Our client, based in Dublin 12, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This position will provide essential administrative support across procurement and purchasing activities, ensuring smooth coordination, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with company policies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who would like to gain exposure to purchasing/procurement, or for a graduate who has studied purchasing or supply chain and is keen to develop their skills in a hands-on environment.

Job Title: Purchasing Administrator

Location: Dublin 12

Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with potential to go permanent)

Salary: €32,000 – €35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday–Friday, On-Site

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to procurement and purchasing processes, including monitoring delivery schedules, processing order confirmations, and updating internal systems.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and maintained for audits and reporting.
Liaise with internal teams to support communication and purchasing coordination.
Assist with general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a fast-paced or purchasing/procurement-focused environment.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
