We are hiring a Project Manager to support Network Operations for our Telecoms client on a 1 year fixed term contract initially. Will be based in Dublin, working a hybrid model.
the role will support the Network Operations Units Projects.
This will involve collaboration in the team, regulatory and compliance reporting, compiling of guidelines for vendors/clients
This is a Senior Project Support Role with regulatory and compliance elements involved.
Day to day in the role:
Develop a trusted relationship with internal clients by understanding their existing outsourced solutions and customizing future solutions
Manage a portfolio of outsourced solutions with cross-divisional stakeholders and vendors
Guide clients in procurement of services and ensure our obligations are met
Ensure success of outsourced activities through strong performance management and governance methodologies
Manage the legal, financial, and technological aspects of outsourced solutions
Manage complex outsourcing relationships
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Present analysis results to clients and Leadership Team
Prepare reports and documentation for the Network Operations Unit
Advise the Senior Manager on strategic outsourcing
Provide advice and support to other divisions
Liaise with stakeholders, including Authorized Undertakings and government agencies
Contribute to the work of regulatory bodies around the EU
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have's
- 5+ years in Project Support / Management / Operations role in (telecommunications or IP infrastructure advantageous0
- Knowledge of current and future radiocommunications and telecommunications products and issues
- Good understanding of the telecommunications market in Ireland
- Relevant third-level honours degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Proven experience in managing complex projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience in managing complex outsourcing relationships
- Excellent written communications skills
Desirable:
- Post-graduate qualification or professional accreditation
- Experience in a client-facing role
