Psychologist – Dublin
Psychologist required for part-time (21 hours / 3 days per week) working with clients with a range of conditions including Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability.
The role will involve career facilitation and supporting clients into the workplace and/or education in the Dublin area through psychologist interventions.

The main duties of this role include:
•Encourage and enable students/service users in identifying their learning, social, emotional, cognitive needs in order to help prepare for their first Individual Action Plan (IAP) or Person Centred Planning meetings
•Provide regular and scheduled supervision and training to the Rehabilitation Officers/Trainee Psychologists/Assistant Psychologists to ensure that they can provide evidence based interventions and support
•Design and deliver training to staff that provides them with up to date training and knowledge in the area of education, rehabilitation, disability management, and other relevant areas. To provide staff with support for their work with students/service users, through the provision of regular meetings to ensure that appropriate professional standards are maintained.
•Liaise with other stakeholders as appropriate, to include families, professionals and external agencies and engage in crisis management with students and service users as required.
Interested candidates are required to:
•Hold a recognised professional qualification in Psychology to Master or Doctorate level
•Hold Chartered membership (or eligible for) with the Psychological Society of Ireland or Chartered membership (or eligible for) of the British Psychological Society.
•Preferably, at least 3 years work experience in the field of Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability
•An understanding of the Recovery Approach and of Person Centred Planning would be an advantage
