We are currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join a growing, dynamic supply chain team within an innovative life sciences manufacturing company based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. What You’ll Do
- Manage the purchasing of key materials from internal and external suppliers.
- Ensure timely placement of purchase orders aligned with lead-times and service level agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, warehousing, operations, and customer service teams.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and contribute to supplier performance monitoring.
- Support quality and onboarding processes for new materials and suppliers.
- Contribute to audit preparations and documentation upkeep.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within manufacturing or a related industry.
- A third-level qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365) is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
