An established manufacturer in County Cavan is seeking a QEHS Officer to join their team and lead continuous improvement initiatives across quality, health, safety, and environmental systems.
What You’ll Do
- Provide QEHS support to operations, ensuring compliance with certifiable standards, policies, and customer requirements.
- Promote a proactive approach to quality and safety while supporting the implementation of best working practices.
- Ensure manufactured products meet brand, customer, and health & safety specifications.
- Lead and participate in audits, projects, and initiatives to maintain all site accreditations and certifications.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and strong environmental and safety principles.
- Collaborate with production, development, and technical teams to ensure compliance and prepare customer reports.
- Define quality procedures, monitor performance, and produce reports to drive improvement.
- Identify and deliver quality-related training needs across the site.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree-level qualification in Health & Safety and Environmental disciplines.
- 2+ years’ experience in Quality, EHS, and ISO systems (desirable).
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- A proactive mindset with the drive to develop and promote a positive QEHS culture.
