Cpl Healthcare in partnership with Galway Simon is looking to recruit 2 nurses for positions working in their Homeless Services.
Galway Simon was set up in 1979 and offers an array to the homeless community in Galway and the surrounding areas. Some of the services include,
Homeless prevention
Homeless housing and accommodation
Health and Wellbeing
We are currently recruiting for 2 Registered Nurses for part time roles (22 hours in total) for a 3-year fixed term contract.
First position covers the Galway / Mayo region
Second position covers Galway East and Roscommon.
Interested candidates must have.
Recognised nursing qualification either RGN / RPN
Full nursing registration with the NMBI
Stamp 4 visa at a minimum is required.
Previous experience working in the homeless sector is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working with vulnerable adult / additions service is essential.
A good understanding of the homeless sector in Ireland is essential.
Full clean driving license and assess to a car is essential.
Responsibilities of the role.
Work within the homeless services as part of the multidisciplinary team
Deliver a coordinated approach to client care and co-ordinating services for cases as required.
Work as part of the “Housing First” Team
Supporting and providing care to the very vulnerable clients in the service
Deliver and coordinate a broad-based integrated prevention, education, health promotion and treatment nursing service and will play a lead role on nursing issues within Homeless Services, to include Housing First across the region
