Sales Manager
Location : Dublin / Limerick

To support the Commercial Director in driving efficiencies and business opportunities within the
sales team. The Sales Manager will be required to lead the sales team in all aspects of account
management and report on performance through accurate metric driven data.
They will support the Commercial Director on the delivery of the sales strategy and ensuring above
average growth from assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
· Overseeing and coordinating sales activities as well as executing Account Manager activities on assigned accounts.
· Control and monitor overall sales team performance against the overall sales budget, and ensure the meeting of, or exceeding of, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and deliver growth across client base.
· Track sales team pipeline and metrics and report data to executive leadership team on a regular basis. Meeting or exceeding targets for self-assigned accounts.
· Preparing sales budgets and weekly sales forecasts for approval.
· Lead regular meetings with the sales team, drive efficiencies and support growth.
· Coach the Sales team in sales best practice and develop and continuously enhance account management practices, ensuring optimal alignment with customer procurement practices.
· Building and maintaining a rapport with existing clients
· Though innovation and creativity, you will generate new ideas, new business to support and drive revenue growth.
· Ensure all sales orders meet finance and commercial management requirements.
· Keep abreast of current and proposed market developments in relation to the telco environment both from a commercial and regulatory perspective.
· Provide visible leadership and support to ensure the vision and values are adhered to and demonstrate a commitment to collaborative behaviour.
Requirements:
This is an interesting role that requires the candidate to have strong outside sales experience with particular focus on the telecommunications industry in Ireland.
· The candidate will need to have a sound understanding from a carrier perspective with strong market insight.
· Skilled in people management and show leadership in driving a high-performance culture.
· Previous coaching experience, a distinct advantage in coaching performance through meaningful positive collaboration and feedback.
· 5 years’ experience in the telecommunications sector.Wholesale telecoms services (Ethernet, Wireless and Dark Fibre)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
· Collaborative style of working with focus on building strong relationships both internal and external.
· Presentation skills
· Data analytics desirable
· Commercial Awareness/Acumen
· External sales experience to senior representatives in SME and above.
