Reporting to the Services Manager, this is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Logging samples, grinding soil samples, filing of samples, disposing of samples.
· Calibrate, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment.
· Participate in proficiency schemes to verify accuracy and competency.
· Ensure work practices comply with all health and safety and environmental standards.
