We're partnering with one of the top financial services companies in the country to source a highly skilled and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer. You will work within a mission critical enineering team to deliver starategic initiatives.

Your team will work on workplace wealth management products that serve global enterprise clients.

What You'll Bring

• BSc or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)

• 8+ years of Java EE development, prefferably on high transaction velocity systems

• JAVA middle tier REST services and with messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka

• Proven and demonstrable knowledge of PL/SQL and highly sophisticated queries

• Experience working with relational databases

• Deep knowledge of cloud services and CI/CD pipelines in an Azure Kubernetes Service environment.

• Adept at leading engineering teams.

• Ability to work on your own intiative with technical analysis.

• Full ownership of individual projects and code base

• Facilitate continuous improvement throughout the engineering team

• Champion TDD and automation

• Standard processes and methodologies for developing high quality secure code

• Agile techniques and Jira

• Comfortable working on multiple projects and executing multiple tasks simlutaneously

• Good communication skills and team focused mentality

• Ability to work in a distributed environment and collaborate across the organisation

• Solid understanding of sowftware design patterns and principles
