DevOps Lead – POS Platforms

💳 POS Experience Essential
We are hiring an experienced DevOps Lead for a 12-month onsite contract in Ireland supporting critical POS, TMS and TCS platforms within a regulated payments environment.
POS / payments experience is absolutely essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute DevOps delivery across POS ecosystems
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Embed security tooling (SAST – Fortify, SCA, DAST) into pipelines
- Ensure PCI / P2PE compliance across environments
- Implement IaC (Terraform) and manage Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
- Manage AWS environments (dev/test/prod)
- Lead release strategies (blue/green, canary) and observability (Dynatrace)
- Drive automated testing and incident response
Requirements:
- Strong DevOps background within POS or payment terminal environments
- Experience in PCI-regulated ecosystems
- Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD expertise
- Experience supporting terminal or embedded software releases
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Serious DevOps role in a highly regulated POS environment — not a generic cloud position.
