Overview
A well-established Irish financial services organisation is looking to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer to join its growing technology function. This role offers the chance to work on modern digital platforms, contributing to the delivery of scalable and user-focused applications within a collaborative environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for building high-quality frontend solutions, partnering with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive and performant user experiences. You’ll also play a key role in shaping frontend standards and mentoring others within the team.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in software development with a strong frontend focus
- Expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of state management (Redux or similar)
- Experience building scalable, component-based UIs
- Strong knowledge of API integration (REST/GraphQL)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and modern build tools
- Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with design systems or frontend architecture patterns
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
- Knowledge of secure coding practices
