Global financial services organisation based in Dublin is looking for a Senior Functional QA Engineer to join their team.

As a key member of our global Agile team, you will play a critical role in embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies across product releases, including system integration, user acceptance, and functional testing. Your responsibilities will span test planning and execution, with a focus on GUI testing, risk analysis, test estimation, feature sizing, and ensuring robust test coverage.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering.

• Financial services experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience in Agile methodologies.

• Extensive experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, test reporting and signoff.

• Experience with RDBMS, RESTAPI and related tools such as SQL and Postman.

• Experience with using Java or Java Script and experience with Java based testing frameworks.

• Experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications at multiple layers of the technology stack

• Jira and Xray a plus.

• Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress a plus.
