Senior Psychologist - Dublin South Central Mental Health Services
CPL Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE are currently recruiting for a Senior Psychologist for a long-term locum assignment on behalf of the community mental health service based in South Dublin city.
This role is part of a multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team and will involve significant assessments and short-term therapeutic input with adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
Job Responsibilities:
· Working in partnership with multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the delivery of first-class Psychology service to adult patients with a range of mental health conditions within a community setting with some in-reach / inpatient clients.
· Providing input into service delivery and supervision of basic grade staff
The Candidate:
· A recognised qualification as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
· Candidates qualified outside the Republic of Ireland are required to hold validation of their qualifications with the Dept of Health & Children
· A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as an Psychologist with a significant amount working within a mental health setting.
· Permission to work in Ireland
· Professional approach to work
· Flexibility in work practice

This role will involve working with the older adult service and will consider applications for full and part-time candidates.
The mental health of older adult’s programme specialises in the mental healthcare of the elderly with a focus on depression and dementia in later life.
This role is part of a multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team and will involve significant assessments and short-term therapeutic input with older adults with a focus on depression and dementia in later life with the aim of the service to facilitate and promote wellness and functional independence with a focus on restoration, rehabilitation and compensation of skills.
