About the Role

We are recruiting a Senior User Experience Designer to contribute to the development of a high-performance, real-time trading platform. This is a part-time, contract role ideal for a designer with strong experience in financial services UX and expertise using Axure.

You will take ownership of UX design across the platform, working closely with executive leadership and development teams to deliver a highly functional and intuitive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design and refine user experience (UX) components using Axure RP
Enhance existing UX and develop new front-end components for a trading interface
Work directly with the CEO to ensure all UX meets functionality, design, and usability standards
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure implementation accuracy

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of UX design experience in financial services
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Axure RP
Strong portfolio showcasing UX for complex or data-intensive applications

Preferred Experience

At least 2 years working on UX for electronic trading platforms or similar financial products
Familiarity with real-time data and trading workflows

Skills and Attributes

Strong communication skills, especially in written design documentation
High attention to detail with a focus on usability and clarity
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
Proactive and adaptable mindset

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interactive Design, or a related field
A master’s degree is an advantage

Additional Information

Remote role; must be based in Ireland
Approximately 20 hours per week (80 hours per month)
Occasional travel to a Dublin office is optional, not required
