We are seeking a highly motivated Shift Manager to join a growing and innovative timber frame manufacturing business. This role is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership position in a dynamic production environment, with strong growth plans ahead.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Manage and coordinate production personnel to achieve output targets while minimizing downtime
✔ Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
✔ Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met
✔ Oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and shift handovers
✔ Lead, train, and motivate your team to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
✔ Foster collaboration across departments to achieve business goals
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Experience in production or manufacturing management (timber frame, carpentry, modular building, or automated machinery experience is a plus)
🔹 Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
🔹 Knowledge of lean principles and good manufacturing practices
🔹 Ability to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings
🔹 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
🔹 Flexible, reliable, and results-driven mindset
