Our client, a State organisation, is seeking to recruit Site Project Coordinator - Medical facilities for its South Dublin Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out site inspections as directed
- Monitoring on-site construction, photographic recordings, materials quality and standard, building materials testing and certificate verification
- Ensuring compliance with contract drawings and specification
- Measuring and recording contract variations and carrying out level surveys on site
- Issuing weekly Site Inspection reports during construction in a timely manner to the Estates Project Manager
- Identifying, recording, and reporting construction defects to the Employer’s representative, Assigned Certifier and the Estates Project Manager in a timely manner
- Monitoring and assessment of contract programme; liaising with the Estates’s representative, the Assigned Certifier, Architect, Engineers and/or Project Manager
- Compliance at all times with Health and Safety regulations and awareness of on-site safety
- Carrying out inspections of building works as part of approved applications to ensure that all work is in compliance with architect’s drawings, engineers reports and current Building Regulations where appropriate
- Reporting on the condition of structures, including structures that are protected, specifying repairs, renewals or rebuilding considered necessary to make unfit or defective premises fit for human habitation, and in accordance with the Building Regulations, put them into good repair and prepare estimates of cost thereof
- Ascertaining the names and addresses of owners, agents, occupiers of buildings/structures and taking appropriate action including the preparation and serving of notices and requisitions where necessary
- Supervising as directed works of repair, construction, securing or demolition where necessary issuing certificates of compliance with requirements of such notices
- Carrying out such duties as may be necessary in conjunction with legal proceedings including attending court and giving evidence
- Keeping accurate electronic and written records of inspections, notices, etc.
- Supervising any employees assigned to him/her and ensuring compliance with corporate policies
- Undertake training as may be required / directed to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations
- Undertaking further duties which may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Essential/Desired Criteria:
- Hold a Level 6 (or higher) Qualification.
- Candidates with a Surveyor background may be preferred
- Full clean driving license and car is essential
Remuneration is negotiable depending on candidate’s experience, suitability and fit for the role. The ideal candidate can expect a salary c 55,000 per annum plus expenses. 30 Days Annual Leave and 35 hour working week.
