Social Care Worker (Full Time) – Disability Services, Wicklow

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Social Care Worker in a full-time position in Wicklow.
Position: Social Care Worker
Location: Wicklow
Hours: 39 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality person-centred care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
- Assist in daily living activities, promoting independence, social inclusion, and personal development.
- Support individuals with personal care, health management, and social activities.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver the best care possible.
- Ensure all care and support complies with HIQA regulations and standards.
- Participate in shift work, including sleepovers, night duty, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Requirements:
- Graduate or currently studying towards a QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies, Social Care, or an equivalent qualification.
- CORU registration or in the process of obtaining registration.
- A genuine interest in working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities and autism.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility and reliability for shift work, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Knowledge of HIQA regulations for residential and respite services.
- A Full driving license and willingness to drive company vehicles.
